The Messengers
Greg and Candy McPherson have been ministering to families for over 30 years. In 1987, they began a ministry committed to making a difference in how families approach relationships. Since that time, thousands of people have been challenged, encouraged and inspired to follow a biblical course toward relationship building. The results are both immediate and eternal.
"We always thank God for the work He does through Life-Trac. It amazes us how He uses the ministry to steer people toward spiritual life and health in their relationships. We know that future generations will be deeply impacted by the work God is doing today through this ministry."
Greg has spent over 17,000 hours in counseling marriage, teen, and family problems. God has gifted Greg and Candy with wisdom and understanding in how to communicate, encourage and equip individuals in strong family relationship building.
The Mission
After every Life-Trac event, we are contacted by people who attended, who feel compelled to tell us what a dramatic awakening they've experienced in their relationships. Below is a sampling of testimonials we've received.
'I learned more in one weekend about my future marriage than during four years at college.'
'I was close to giving up on our marriage even though I still love my husband greatly. This has given me not only more hope, but the awareness of the need for using God's map to happiness.'
'I didn't know it was possible to feel like newlyweds again. I have been reminded of how much I deeply love my wife.'
'An experience of this spiritual magnitude was much needed and long overdue.'
'It is a fact that we would not be together today if it were not for your ministry.'
The Support Team

Many of Life-Trac's ministry partners are longtime friends and associates, but more and more our partners consist of Life-Trac seminar alumni who first received help from the ministry. We are especially fond of these partners, because they are re-investing into God's kingdom what they've been freely given.
Life-Trac is made up of hundreds of caring and compassionate ministry partners. They come from varied backgrounds, communities, and denominations, but they have one thing in common: a passion to reach families for the cause of Christ.
A longtime ministry partner said it best: "Our own marriage and family have been blessed through Life-Trac seminars, and we want other couples and families around the Northwest to benefit from this much-needed ministry."
Your Partnership is Imperative

The call of God upon Life-Trac can only be fully realized with the help of friends who share a like-minded passion. With your partnership, we can provide the tools and skills God has given by His grace to families, pastors and local churches. Future generations will be impacted by the work we do today.
Life-Trac's revenue is faith-based; we depend on consistent financial support to carry on the vital work of this ministry. Your gifts make it possible.

What is the scope of Life-Trac's ministry?
Life-Trac ministers through seminars, retreats, and workshops. These resources are targeted towards specific areas: married couples, pre-married couples, students/teens, pastors, and parents.
In addition to the events listed on the website, Life-Trac has also served through speaking at church services and retreats, and providing pastoral leadership consulting services.
Does Life-Trac have an accountability structure?
Yes. Life-Trac's Board of Directors take their role seriously in keeping the ministry honest, both in financial and moral matters. There is a check-and-balance system in the paying of bills. The Board monitors income and expenses on a monthly basis. In addition, the Board periodically requests accountability of staff's time priorities, so that balance is given to each ministry.
How can I be assured that my money is going for the ministry?
One of the benefits of supporting Life-Trac is that it is a local ministry. Greg and Candy's lifestyle is easily observed. Through the years, they have developed a reputation as people who "walk their talk." By God's grace, they endeavor to be people of integrity in the sight of God, their family, and anyone they come in contact with.
Life-Trac's annual budget, including salaries, is approved each year by the Board of Directors. We are committed to running a "tight ship" financially. All purchases are evaluated in terms of real need and best value for the dollar.
In addition, you might like to know that Greg and Candy's salary (along with the Life-Trac staff) is covered by people who are on their Personal Support Team. These are people who, for the most part, have been ministered to them, and choose to support them personally, much like they would support a missionary.
Can I give to a specific ministry area, such as Marriage Encounter or the ROCK SOLID Teen Camp?
Absolutely! Each ministry area is responsible for "carrying it's own weight" financially, and so we welcome gifts toward any specific ministry. This happens many times when former seminar alumni want to support the specific area that benefited them the most, such as Marriage Encounter.
However, you do not have to designate your gift to any specific area. Many people feel comfortable giving to the general "Where Most Needed" fund, which fills in any gaps in income overall, and helps us launch new projects, like the ROCK SOLID Teen Camp.
How can Life-Trac survive by donations?
Well, it's not because we have multi-millionaires out there that subsidize the ministry. This ministry exists to date because of people like you and me. The typical donor is a Christian who is sick of seeing couples divorce (or have been brought back from the brink themselves) and they want to make a difference. Wen they see the good that Life-Trac's ministry does in the lives of families, they want to be a part of it.
Life-Trac does not operate solely by donations - the average income breakdown is about 60% donations and 40% income from seminar registration fees, speaking fees, etc.
I'd like to get involved, but I can't give every month. Should I even donate?
Yes! We know that monthly giving does not fit everyone's budget. Believe it when we say that we accept all donations - you can give what you want, when you want. Period.
In all honesty, monthly contributions are the mainstay of any non-profit organization, mostly because it helps develop a realistic budget. But whether you decide to give monthly, quarterly, or annually, what helps us most is that we can count on you to give in accordance with your pledge.
I want to help, but I'm not married (or I don't have children). Are there others like me involved with Life-Trac?
You bet. We have several single donors, some of whom are parents. Many of them have been through the anguish of divorce, and are partners with us because they want to help others avoid the same path. Other donors have never been married, but they believe wholeheartedly in what Life-Trac stands for.
I am interested in giving, but circumstances make that impossible. How do I fit?
You can "fit" by telling other people about the ministries we have to offer. For example, if a young couple in your family or church gets engaged, make sure they hear about Pre-Pair for Marriage. And pray for us as a ministry, for wisdom, protection, and a lasting impact on those we serve.
