How do you bring up the topic of "purity"...

How do you bring up the topic of “purity” and what are some helps to support this biblical principle?

1. The subject of purity should be discussed within the relationship of family…parents with their children. Start with getting a good resource. We recommend Randy Alcorn’s book entitled: “The Purity Principle.”  This is a great resource that every parent and single should read, talk about it and develop a plan to practice these biblical truths. The subject of Biblical purity should be discussed regularly because believers need to be strengthened by these practical truths. To not talk or discuss openly these important matters, especially in our families, is to leave us vulnerable to immorality and potentially falling into the many snares of sin. We need to take the position of being on the offense against sin (pro-active) rather than being on the defense. When we take the position to be on the defense we end up reacting and this can be very dangerous for us. Good training and coaching will help us get in front of the battle of immorality.  Talking about this very practical and important topic is good and spiritually healthy and will strengthening your faith.
